Following Sunday’s 1-1 Premier League tie with Nottingham Forest, Chelsea boss Graham Potter has decided to put Hakim Ziyech ahead of Raheem Sterling.
After Sterling gave the Blues the lead, Serge Aurier seized on a defensive mix-up to earn the Tricky Trees a valuable point at the City Ground.
Despite his outstanding performance in the World Cup finals in Qatar, when he led Morocco to the semi-finals, Potter kept Ziyech on the bench until he came on in the 72nd minute to replace Jorginho.
Fans have already flocked to social media to demand that he start ahead of Sterling when Chelsea face Manchester City in their next league game at Stamford Bridge on Thursday. His entrance saw him create opportunities that Chelsea did not take advantage of.
